Tropic Endeavors LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as SaigeWorxAI ("SaigeWorxAI", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have. It applies to the Saige website, embeddable chat widget, dashboard, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you sign up for or use the Service, we collect:
- Account information: business name, business type, website URL, contact email, and any billing information you submit during checkout.
- Knowledge base content: questions, answers, and any other content you upload for your chat agent to use when responding to visitors.
- Branding configuration: agent name, greeting message, brand color, and other settings you customize for your widget.
- Communications: if you contact us by email or through any support channel, we keep a record of the conversation.
Information from Visitors to Your Site
When a visitor interacts with your chat widget on your website, we collect on your behalf:
- Conversation content: the messages exchanged between the visitor and your AI agent.
- Lead form submissions: name, email, phone, event date, event type, budget, guest count, and any message the visitor submits via the lead capture form.
- Technical metadata: the page URL the visitor was on, referrer URL, browser user agent, and IP address (used for rate limiting and abuse prevention).
Visitor data is processed on your behalf as part of providing the Service to you. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the chat widget complies with applicable privacy laws and for obtaining any required consents from your visitors.
Information Collected Automatically
When you use the Service, we automatically collect basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and timestamps. This helps us operate the Service securely and improve performance.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- Process your account, billing, and subscription;
- Generate AI responses based on your knowledge base;
- Capture and deliver leads to you;
- Send you transactional emails (account confirmations, billing notifications, security alerts);
- Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information or your visitors' personal information to third parties. We do not use your data or your visitors' data to train AI models for use outside your account.
3. Third-Party Services We Use
To operate the Service, we share necessary information with these third-party providers:
- Anthropic, PBC — processes chat messages to generate AI responses. Anthropic is contractually prohibited from training their models on API data. See Anthropic Privacy Policy.
- Stripe, Inc. — processes subscription payments and billing. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers; Stripe handles all payment data. See Stripe Privacy Policy.
- Twilio SendGrid — delivers transactional emails (account notifications, lead notifications, billing receipts). See SendGrid Privacy Policy.
- Hosting providers — our application infrastructure is hosted on servers operated by third-party cloud providers. These providers process data only as needed to operate the infrastructure.
Each third-party provider listed above has its own privacy practices governed by its own privacy policy. We have selected providers that we believe maintain reasonable data protection standards, but we are not responsible for their practices beyond our control.
4. Cookies and Tracking
The Saige website and dashboard use a small number of cookies and similar technologies for essential functions: keeping you logged in, remembering your preferences (such as which product mode you last used in the dashboard), and basic analytics to understand how the Service is used.
The embeddable chat widget itself does not set tracking cookies on your visitors' browsers. It uses sessionStorage within the iframe to maintain a single chat session, which is cleared when the visitor closes the page.
5. SMS Communication
By contacting a business or providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages related to your inquiry or requested services.
If you contact a business using our Service or provide your phone number through a chat interaction or phone call, you may receive SMS messages related to your inquiry, booking, or requested services.
These messages may be sent automatically in response to missed calls or inquiries.
We do not sell or share your phone number or SMS consent with third parties for marketing purposes.
Message frequency varies based on your interaction.
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP.

6. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as it is needed to provide the Service:
- Account information: retained for the life of your account. Deleted within 30 days after you close your account.
- Knowledge base content and branding: same as above.
- Conversations and leads: retained for the life of your account so you can review them in the dashboard. You may delete individual records at any time.
- Billing records: retained for 7 years to comply with financial record-keeping requirements.
- Technical logs: retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes, then aggregated or deleted.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a security incident that affects your data, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Delete your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements);
- Export a copy of your data;
- Object to or restrict certain types of processing;
- Withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent).

California residents: the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to opt out of its "sale" (we do not sell personal information).
European Union and UK residents: the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR provide rights similar to those listed above. Where we process your data on our own behalf, we are the data controller. Where we process visitor data on behalf of a Customer (a wedding professional using our chat widget), the Customer is the controller and we act as a processor.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. International Data Transfers
Saige is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective date" above and, for material changes, notify you by email or through the dashboard. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any updated Privacy Policy constitutes acceptance.
